Tony
Dalwood
Tony has a Bachelor of Arts (Majoring
in Accountancy) from The University of SA. After
completing his degree Tony worked for the Australian
firm Irish Young and Outhwaite. Whilst with this
firm he completed the practical and academic requirements
necessary to become a Chartered Accountant.
Tony moved to the UK to further his career with
the major worldwide Accountancy firm Deloittes.
Whilst in the UK he also worked in Industry in a
managerial capacity.
When he returned from overseas he joined the firm
Crosby Mitchell & Lloyd in Adelaide working
directly with and eventually entering into partnership
with Elliot Crosby. Upon the retirement of Elliot
Crosby, Tony entered into partnership with Steve
Thiele.
Tony is now a Fellow member of The Institute of
Chartered Accountants in Australia. He also holds
the designation 'Financial Planning Specialist'
with the Institute. Over his career to date he has
accumulated a broad range of experience in the provision
of Financial, Accountancy, Taxation and Investment
advice.
Tony is a Director of Crosby Dalwood Pty Ltd and
has been an Authorised Representative of Count Wealth
Accountants since 1991.
Tony is married to Barbara and has two daughters
who help to keep him busy away from the office.
Tony also enjoys spending time with friends, playing
and watching sport, travelling and generally relaxing.

Steve
Thiele
Steve is a Director of Crosby Dalwood
Pty Ltd. He is an Associate member of the Institute
of Chartered Accountants and has a Bachelor of Economics
(Majoring in Accountancy). He has many years' experience
in the provision of financial/accounting/taxation
advice.
Steve became an Authorised Representative of Count
Wealth Accountants in 1991, and believes everyone
should invest as much as they can for their retirement.
In June 2000 Steve was also presented with the designation
'Financial Planning Specialist' from the Institute
of Chartered Accountants.
Steve enjoys "armchair sports", in particular,
Formula 1, AFL and test cricket. Organic gardening
and spending time with his family are also important.
Other interests include preparing and consuming
spicy food, and a love of red wine. Steve loves
motoring, and has a red Subaru WRX and also a blue
convertible for sunny days.

Sam
Crawford
Sam is a Director of Crosby Dalwood Pty Ltd and
has been with the firm since March 1998.
Prior to joining Crosby Dalwood, Sam worked for
RJC Evans & Co in Adelaide before spending a
year in Europe and Turkey on a ‘Working Holiday’.
In 1994, he and his wife Skye moved to Whyanbeel
Valley near Mossman in far North Queensland where
Sam worked with Cockrell Reece & Co for 3 ½
years.
He has a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from the
University of SA, is a Certified Practising Accountant
and an Affiliate of The Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Sam became an Authorised Representative of Count
Wealth Accountants in July 2003.
He enjoys travel, camping and most sports including
football, cricket, tennis and golf and loves spending
time with his wife, two daughters and son on their
property in the Adelaide Hills where they live.

Helga
Baxter
Helga is a Financial Adviser with over
20 years experience in the financial services
industry. Helga is a Director of Crosby Dalwood
Pty Ltd and has been with the firm since September
1995.
Helga became an Authorised Representative of
Count Wealth Accountants in 1997. She is a Certified
Financial Planner through the Financial Planning
Association of Australia, member of the MFAA and
an Affiliate of the ICAA.
She enjoys spending time with her family, football
(especially supporting Port Power), holidaying,
reading, walking, socialising and overall believes
that life should be fun.

Emma
Griffin
Emma joined Crosby Dalwood in October 2008.
She is an Associate member of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants and has degrees in Economics
and Law from the University of Adelaide. Reflecting
her long standing interest in investment, across
the years Emma has also completed the Graduate
Diploma in Securities and Investment from the
Securities Institute of Australia and passed the
Chartered Financial Analyst exams.
For 13 years Emma worked in corporate banking
and insolvency for Coopers & Lybrand, Commonwealth
Bank of Australia and most recently Bangkok Bank
in Thailand after the Asian financial crisis.
After returning to live in Adelaide she changed
careers and has been working in public practice
since 2006.
Emma enjoys working in her Adelaide Hills garden,
renovating, cooking, walking her dogs and reading.

Alex
Gray
Alex joined Crosby Dalwood in February 1999. He
specialises in individual income tax returns, fringe
benefits tax and the internal administration of
the firm.
Alex previously had 25 years experience in the Australian
Taxation Office in a wide variety of roles.
His outside interests include golf, other sports,
reading, wining and dining.

Heidi
Leaver
Heidi started working at Crosby Dalwood in August
2003 as a Financial Planning Assistant.
She has taken a career change by accepting the
position of Administration Manager in June 2009.
As a result she plans to undertake her Masters
in Business Administration in 2010.
Heidi has over 12 years experience in Personal
Finance and the Financial Services Industry.
Heidi enjoys playing netball, running, wine tasting,
gardening and spending time with her gorgeous
children, family and friends.

Maria
Alviar-Laroza
Maria joined Crosby Dalwood in December 2005.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
(majoring in Accountancy). She passed the CPA
board examination given by the Professional Regulation
Commission Board in the Philippines and is a member
of the Philippine Institute of CPA's.
She previously worked with a Chartered Accounting
firm at North Adelaide and, prior to that, in
the commerce industry.
Before migrating with her family to Australia
in October 1992, Maria worked for the Canadian
International Development Agency as the Corporate
Accountant. She has extensive experience in accounting,
auditing and Australian taxation rules and regulations.
Maria enjoys spending time with her family, reading,
gardening, cooking and is actively involved in
her children's school and the local church.

Cathy
Bull
Cathy joined Crosby Dalwood in November 2006 after
moving back to Adelaide from Melbourne where she
and her family had lived for 8 years.
Cathy has had over 20 years experience working
for various firms in the Tax and Accounting industry.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from
the University of South Australia and is a member
of CPA Australia.
In her spare time she enjoys swimming, dining
out and spending time with her husband and two
young children.

Andrew
Steinwedel
Andrew started working at Crosby Dalwood in December
2006.
Andrew has completed the Certificate lll in Accounting
and the Certificate lll in Bookkeeping at TAFE and
is currently completing a Bachelor in Commerce (Accounting)
at the University of Adelaide. He has 6 years experience
in public accounting and a further 10 years experience
in financial administration in business and non-government
organisations.
In his spare time Andrew enjoys the supporting the
arts, silver-smithing and taking an active interest
in community work.

Irene Vatovec
Irene started working at Crosby Dalwood in February
2007.
Irene has completed the Certificate III in Financial
Services at TAFE and Graduate Certificate of Business
(Accountancy) at the University of South Australia.
She is currently studying for the Graduate Certificate
of Chartered Accounting Foundations at Deakin
University. She has been in Public Practice since
2000.
In her spare time Irene enjoys being with her
family and friends, sewing intricate needlework,
reading, and gardening.

Yeow
Elena joined Crosby Dalwood in November 2008.
She completed a Graduate Diploma in Business
(Accountancy) and Masters of Business Administration
(Finance) at the University of South Australia
in December 2008 and September 2005 respectively.
She has a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) majoring
in Business Administration from the University
of Malaya, Malaysia and is planning to enrol in
the CA program in 2010.
Elena has 8 years experience in the banking industry
in Malaysia specializing in Trade Finance and
Credit Operations and 2 years experience in the
education industry. She also worked as a casual
tutor for the University of South Australia in
2008.
In her spare time, Elena enjoys reading, travelling,
line dancing and sewing.

Wang
Aileen started working at Crosby Dalwood in April
2009 after moving back from Sydney where she worked
over two years in an accounting firm.
She completed a Master of Commerce degree, majoring
in Accounting and Finance at University of Adelaide.
She is currently enrolled in the CPA mentoring
program.
In her spare time, Aileen enjoys spending time
with her family and friends, traveling overseas
and going to the movies. |

Michelon
Carolyn joined Crosby Dalwood as an Accountant in
May 2009.
She has previously worked in the Financial Planning
industry, as a Bookkeeper and a Tax Accountant.
Carolyn has a Bachelor of Commerce (with a double
major in Accounting and Finance) from Flinders University,
a Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning)
and is planning to undertake the CA Program.
In her spare time, Carolyn loves going to the
beach, cooking and spending time with her family
and friends. |

Titley
Peter began working at Crosby Dalwood in June 2009.
His previous experience includes working in a
Tax/Business Services role for 15 months whilst
completing his Bachelor of Commerce at UniSA.
He is currently undertaking his Chartered Accounting
studies.
Peter enjoys watching sport with friends and
being active. His other interests include cooking,
music, fishing and socialising. |

Owen
Rhiannon started working at Crosby Dalwood in December
2002 as a Receptionist, and now works in the Financial
Planning Team as a Paraplanner. Rhiannon has
completed her Diploma of Financial Services (Financial
Planning) through FINSIA.
In her spare time she enjoys Pilates, Kick Boxing
and spending time with her family and friends.

Gennaro Zerella
Gennaro joined Crosby Dalwood in November, 2007.
He has a Bachelor of Economics and is undertaking
a Bachelor of International Studies and also working
towards his Diploma in Financial Planning. Gennaro
had previously worked with the Commonwealth Bank
for 2 years.
Gennaro is interested in politics and international
relations and world activities.
Gennaro loves the beach, spending time with friends
and relaxing. He enjoys keeping fit, and watching
the Crows AFL team.

Surman
Andrew joined Crosby Dalwood in August 2009.
He completed a Bachelor of Economics from Adelaide
University in 2008 and is enrolled in a Graduate
Diploma of Global Wealth Management.
Andrew has many sporting interests, in particular
Badminton, soccer and keeping fit. He enjoys supporting
the crows, traveling and spending time with friends.

Annetté joined Crosby Dalwood in January
2008 after travelling through Europe & living
in London.
She is currently undertaking a Certificate III
in Financial Services and has over 7 years experience
in the Accounting, Financial Planning & Stockbroking
Industries.
Annetté enjoys collecting art, interacting
with new cultures when travelling, bushwalking
& anything to do with the great outdoors.
She is a member of Australian Dance Theatre &
Adelaide Festival Centre and has a passion for
theatre and the arts where she volunteers for
events like the Fringe. |

Kym started working at Crosby Dalwood in August
2009. Previously she worked for a property investment
company in administration and finance.
Kym is currently studying for her Advanced Diploma
in Accounting at TAFE and plans to continue studying
for her degree. Kym enjoys her accounting studies.
She likes to read, watch movies and catch up
for coffee with friends. |
